OASIS - The team
Presentation
OASIS brings together an international consortium of excellence, uniting leading academic institutions, clinical centers, industry partners, and patient organizations across Europe. This multidisciplinary team combines expertise in oncology, molecular biology, imaging, data science, and patient engagement to address the challenges of ADC resistance. Through close collaboration and shared ambition, the OASIS partners are working together to accelerate innovation and deliver meaningful advances for patients.
Meet the actors of the consortium below.
Team members

Jérôme Lemonnier, PhD
Membre du consortium
He currently heads the Translational Research Unit. He holds dual expertise in both fundamental and clinical research, with 16 years of experience in clinical research and nearly 10 years in basic science. He previously led the French breast cancer intergroup (UCBG), collaborates with most major French institutions, and maintains numerous international partnerships in both academic and industry settings. He oversees a team dedicated to academic translational research and the valorization of biological samples and also serves on UNICANCER’s R&D steering committee.
UNICANCER

Guillaume Montagnac, PhD
Membre du consortium
A cellular biologist, he specializes in intracellular trafficking pathways, particularly studying the role of clathrin-mediated endocytosis and actin- and microtubule-dependent transport in cancers.
INSERM (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research)

Dr. Géraldine Gebhart, MD, PhD
Membre du consortium
Her research focuses on the contribution of molecular imaging to the early assessment of response to anti-HER2 treatments in breast cancer. She has contributed to the development of major pilot studies in this field, including NEOALTO, ZEPHER, and PHERGAIN.
Jules Bordet Institute (IJB)

Charles Truillet, PhD
Membre du consortium
He has made significant contributions to nanosciences, notably through the transfer of innovative theranostic nanoparticles called AGuIX. He leads two academic clinical trials and collaborates closely with the Institut Gustave Roussy.
CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission)

Paul-Henry Cournède, PhD
Membre du consortium
Expert in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis of biological systems and data, with a strong interest in oncology. He has supervised 35 PhD students, published 90 articles in indexed international scientific journals, authored 10 book chapters, delivered over 90 conference presentations, and holds a U.S. patent.
CentraleSupélec

Professor Evi Lianidou, PhD
Membre du consortium
Her main research focuses on the development and clinical evaluation of quantitative RT-qPCR tests in single and multiplex formats, DNA methylation analyses, highly sensitive assays for mutation analysis in CTCs and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), as well as the assessment of circulating microRNAs as plasma tumor biomarkers.
National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA)

Andrea Balliagi
Membre du consortium

Antonella Cardone
Membre du consortium
She joined CPE as CEO in 2022 and also advises the board of Pancreatic Cancer Europe. She previously directed the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC) and brings 25 years of experience leading health and advocacy organisations, including the Fit for Work Global Alliance and the American Cancer Society’s Global Smoke-free Partnership.
Cancer Patients Europe (CPE)

Professor Dimitrios Mavroudis, MD, PhD
Membre du consortium
He is also director of the department’s clinical trials unit and leads the translational oncology laboratory. He has represented Greek medical oncologists within ESMO and he is also a member of the initial steering committee for the organization of the National Institute of Cancer in Greece.
University of Crete (UoC)

Juan-Jose Ventura
Membre du consortium
He trained as a pharmacist and completed his PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, followed by basic research positions at EMBL, HHMI, CNIO, Cambridge and KU Leuven focused on cancer biomarkers. He later moved into patient advocacy and has contributed to more than 20 EU-funded research projects.
Cancer Patients Europe (CPE)

Kaustubh Dhurandhar
Membre du consortium
He joined CPE in early 2024, holding a bachelor’s degree in mass media from the University of Mumbai and a master’s in communication studies from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He brings a strong understanding of EU institutions and audience-focused communication strategies.
